Help & support

Quick answers about your account, tools and teaching. A direct way to reach stringlr when you need a hand.

Getting started

What is stringlr and who is it for?

stringlr brings together tools for creating, explaining and practising guitar material. Guitarists and teachers can create notation, tabs, fretboard diagrams, charts and strumming patterns for their playing and lessons. Find the tools in the cockpit.

#
Is stringlr free? What does open beta mean?

stringlr is currently in open beta. You can try the tools and create a free account. Features are still being developed, so errors and changes are possible. This is not a promise that every feature will remain free forever.

#
What can I try without an account?

You can open and try many tools and public resources without signing in. Saving, printing and sharing require an account. Personal teaching areas and assigned content depend on your access and role.

#
How do I register or sign in?

Choose Sign in at the top and follow the sign-in dialog. Keep using the same email address to access your saved materials. After signing in, the account menu shows the areas available to your account.

#
My sign-in email is missing or the link expired. What should I do?

Check the address you entered and your spam and promotions folders. Wait briefly, then request another email through Sign in if needed. Use the latest link. If the problem persists, contact support without forwarding your sign-in link.

Materials & teaching

Which tool should I use?

Use the Score Editor for notation and tabs, the Diagram Editor for fretboard shapes and scales, the Chart Editor for chord progressions and the Strumming Editor for strumming patterns. The Lesson Editor assembles teaching material. The metronome, backing tracks and licks support practice.

#
How do I save and find my material?

Sign in and use the save function in the editor. Wait for confirmation before leaving the page. Depending on the tool, saved material is available in its open dialog or the media area. A local draft does not replace a deliberately saved backup.

#
Can I print or export material?

After signing in, printing and export options depend on the tool. Check the preview and use the formats offered by the editor. You can also print to PDF through your browser's print dialog. Not every tool supports the same export formats.

#
How do I share teaching material with students?

Use the tool's or teacher area's share, send or assign action. Check the recipient and access settings. An address copied from the browser is not automatically a public sharing link; private content remains restricted.

Troubleshooting

Does stringlr work on phones and tablets?

You can open stringlr in a browser on your phone or tablet. A larger screen gives you more room for detailed score and lesson editing. Controls and audio may vary by device and browser; use an up-to-date browser.

#
Why is there no sound?

Start playback by tapping or clicking, then check the device and tool volume. Check muted tabs, headphones and Bluetooth output. Save any changes before reloading. If the problem continues, tell us your device, browser and affected tool.

#
How do I report a bug or suggest an idea?

Email [email protected] with the affected tool, expected result and what happened instead. Include reproduction steps, device and browser. A screenshot with personal data removed may help. Suggestions are welcome too.
